Black Dog is made from the Nebbiolo grapes that hail from Northern Italy’s Piedmont region producing a powerful, full-bodied red wine with “grippytannins” that cling to your teeth, tongue and gums.

Expect that to be followed up with striking notes of cherry, coffee, anise and primordial earth tones. Pairs up with rustic Italian fare, also surprisingly well with savory Chinese and spice-driven Asian cuisine.
